You may note that these aren't the best shots on my site. This species is not the most dramatic, nor is it particulary rare in the US. However, out of all the pictures on this webpage, I worked the hardest obtaining the ones below. It took 7 visits and countless hours of effort before I FINALLY got lucky enough to catch the Rail out in the open.
