I took a trip to the Lower Rio Grande Valley in southern Texas, USA, in April of 2002. These great photos were possible because of observation blinds erected by the Refuge. Least Grebes are also commonly found in winter on the island of Curacao, NA.

While Least Grebes may be very rare in the USA, they are quite common in the Caribbean. I have seen them on Aruba and Curacao. On the T&C, I got to take more photos. January 2004.
