Such a jinx Bird! After looking for Montezuma Quail on 6 different trips to SE AZ, I had the good fortune to observe the vents of a pair flying away rapidly. Did I mention that I nearly stepped on them before they flushed? Finally in July of 2008 I obtained the long and fulfilling looks that I had been waiting for since my first trip to SE AZ in 2004!
