If my new Canon EOS 10D has any shortcomings, it has to be lack of magnification. This is not Digiscoping, and thus I need to be a lot closer to my target. For this, I often use my car. You can drive up to a Bird a lot closer than you may walk up to it.

Again, employing my car as a blind, I drove up to this one hunting along the back stretch of the Wildlife Drive. Main Pool, MNWR. Seneca Falls, NY USA. January, 2005. Canon EOS 10D digital SLR and EF100-400mm F4.5-5.6 IS lens. ISO 400. Evaluative Metering.
