Funny thing about Sora...they are usually invisible. Then, all of a sudden, they are 100% visible and bold! The trick is, keying into when they are cooperative, usually in migration.

I hate to think I've simply passed by the Seneca Spillway before and not noticed this... Groups of young Soras (with one adult) were observed that autumn stalking along the tops of the lily pads and feeding. We were searching for a Purple Gallinule when we spotted them, 14-19 in all!
